The House Saga - After

Here it is folks! Our finished product! The only thing left for us to do is some landscaping with wood chips, bushes, flowers, etc. Can you even believe this is the same house?? There are about 8 trees missing from just this picture. Altogether I think we've taken out about 20 trees. Those big 70 ft Australian pines in the front were the fun ones to do! We were fairly impressed with what we've been able to accomplish in just one year - with an AWFUL lot of help from pretty much everyone who ever came to visit us! Thanks a ton!!
Then we had to take the matching picture of us all sitting on the curb in front of the house. I think I'll need to try to do one where the sun's shining a little more in the front so you can see it better. But this is our official 'After' picture. There's still some work to do inside - the only room we haven't redone on the main floor is the study and it's up next for a coat of paint, a closet overhaul and a new light fixture - coming this winter!!
