More Adventures in Eating Food

Now that Grant has some teeth, we've been experimenting with "big people" food to see what he likes and doesn't like. This picture was taken after he tried chocolate cake for the first time. Um, he REALLY likes cake!
This is a picture Jared took of Grant eating a crescent roll by himself. He's kind of at that stage where he doesn't want to be fed by us anymore, he wants to do it himself, but it takes too long and he loses the food into his lap before he gets it to his mouth. So he gets frustrated. Mealtimes have become a big drama.

Grant recently tried meat for the first time. Venison from the deer that Jared got this winter. He'd never had red meat before, so it was a big moment.
