Odds and Ends

Here are some random pictures we've taken over the past couple of weeks. Grant found a new hiding place here in the living room. He thinks if he can't see us, he won't be in trouble.Jared stayed home with Grant on Sunday because he had a "suspicious" cough. He discovered the spot where mummy keeps the blankets is really soft. This is his new recliner.Grant had his 18 month checkup and got some shots. He was feeling pretty tired afterwards (from all the hysterical crying you know) and I got this video of him falling asleep in his chair.This is Grant playing with his cowboy hat from Halloween. He actually did put it on his head for about 5 seconds, but by the time I got the camera......you know.
We got tired of having all Grant's toys in an old diaper box in the living room corner, so we bought him a little toy box on wheels, which he promptly threw all the toys out of at the first chance. He likes to sit in it and be alone.
We tried to get a picture of Grant's curl in the back. His hair is long enough that I can twirl it around my fingers and make a little ringlet. Think he needs a haircut???
Grant's got a shoe fetish. Probably from me. He loves to unload all my shoe shelves in the closet and put the shoes out in a big pile. Once he's got them all out, he tried to put them all back in the same hole, which they don't fit in, so then he gets mad. So he stopped trying to put them back and just leaves them out now.I took this picture last night of Grant on Jared's dirt bike. Grant won't go near the thing if it's on, but he'll sit on it when it's not going. The vibrations freak him out. Another favorite father/son activity is "the chase game". Grant loves to be scared and thinks it's hilarious when we pop out at him unexpectedly. He also loves to "help" mummy vacuum. This consists of going in circles around the spot I'm vacuuming at any given time. (Sorry for the poor quality of this video).
