I'm A Cowboy - Got My Boots!!

Like Grant's boots? He's going to be a cowboy for Halloween this year and we got him a little hat and vest to match these boots. We're trying to break him into wearing them and being able to walk. The first time we put them on him, he cried and cried and wouldn't walk unless he was holding our hands.But he's been carrying them around the house for about a week, so last night we decided to put them on him again and see how he did. He took off and walked all over the house. I'm hoping that he'll do okay with trick or treating this year and not get too scared. He won't wear the hat on his head though, but he will run around with it hanging on his back, so whatever. He's got his little sheriff badge with his name on it that Grandma Love bought him so he's official! Anyway, I'm still planning to get him a little toy gun and holster. We'll be sure to take pictures on Halloween to post. We can't wait!!
I took these pictures of Grant last night helping Jared take out the trash, while he was wearing his boots. It was getting along to be about bedtime, so Grant was dragging around a blanket with him and wouldn't let go of it.
You can't see it really well here, but he's closing the trash bin door for me. What a helper!
