Merry Christmas to All!
We all had a lovely Christmas this year. Grant was excited about all the new toys that he found under the Christmas tree - in fact, we could hardly get him interested in opening up presents. He was too busy going from one thing to the next. Grandma and Grandpa Sommers came for Christmas, so we had lots of fun together opening presents and taking pictures.
Here is a shot of our living room on Christmas morning. Santa even spelled out Grant's name in the blocks he brought.
Of course, Grant went right for the cars! His favorite thing. He also got a new farm set, so the cow is what he's holding in his hand. He'll send anything he has down the tracks.
Daddy got right in on all the car action with Grant. Gotta love having kids so you can play with the toys!
Like I said, Grant was more interested in playing with the toys he'd already gotten than in opening presents. He did play AROUND the presents though.
This all changed when we opened the LAST present - from the Van Orden cousins. Grant had a ball with his Big Digger. We even got him to wear the hat for a split second while I snapped a picture.
Grant put the hat on Daddy's head, so he ended up wearing it while he showed Grant how to scoop up the oranges.
Then they carried them over to the other side of the room and dumped them. What fun!
Then Grant wanted to do it by himself. Here's some video of him going off to play with his tractor.
After all the fun of spending Christmas day playing with new toys and eating a big dinner and all kinds of stuff, Grant enjoyed some sugar cookies and milk before going to bed. Hope you all had a great Christmas too!
