Kansas Snow Storm

Sorry about how long it's been since we posted anything. We got our first real snowstorm of the winter here the weekend of January 14th. Jared had to go out and shovel the driveway, so I bundled Grant up in his snowsuit and let him come out and play in the snow for the first time ever. Here I am trying to force him into his boots and snow gear. Reminded me of the Christmas Story.
Speaking of which, once Grant got outside, he couldn't stand up by himself if he fell down in the snow. He could get only as far as kneeling. I think his boots are still a little bit big on him. He loved walking around in the snow and looking at the footprints he left. He tried climbing the step, but didn't quite make it. Don't worry, he wasn't injured.
We didn't even consider buying a sled for Grant this year, because we didn't think he'd get to use it, and we thought he was still a little young to be able to hold on. So Jared pulled him around the yard on the back of the snow shovel, even took him over a jump he made from the snow piles. Then we went back inside and had a nap. He also loves to sing, but I haven't been able to catch him on video doing the Wheels on the Bus song - but he has sung it on the phone for Grandma!
