Introducing Katie & Violet (Our First Family Pets)

Here's everyone with the kittens on their first day at our house.

On Monday, August 12th we got our first family pets, 2 kittens about 7 weeks old.  They were barn cats we got from a farm outside of town.  We're hoping they'll be good mousers and keep the pests away from our house when it gets cold.  The kittens have about the same coloring, but Katie's got longer fur than Violet.

The kids love their new pets.  They were skittish at first, but they have started to really love playing with us.
