Spring Flowers

Here are the pictures of the tulips and daffodils in our front yard. The storms whipped them around quite a bit before I could get some really good pictures, so the daffodils don't look quite as good as they did, but this was the first day that the tulips all really opened up fully.
This shows kind of the arrangement that we planted them in. The plant in the corner by the drain pipe is a gooseberry plant. We transplanted it from the back of the house to the front. It's starting to blossom out and Jared's excited about the possibility of gooseberry jam this year. We'll see.
This is Grant "watching" conference. Actually all he's looking at is the shapes and patterns that Windows Media Player makes while the audio is going. He had to be right up next to the monitor so he could see it. I distracted him with crayons and puzzles and food later so that he wouldn't do this anymore. Grant learned about the fun of bubble wrap this weekend. We also got some video of him laughing hysterically at me tickling him and walking around in mummy's shoe.
