4th of July
Happy 4th of July to everyone! We had to do our celebrating a few days early because of the rotten weather. We were due for rainstorms Saturday and Sunday this year, so we did our own little fireworks show at home on Friday night (the 2nd). I love the face Lottie is making in this picture! She looks so confused!
The boys were very excited to light our fireworks. We couldn't get things started fast enough for them. Lottie wasn't terribly excited about the prospect of loud explosions and things blowing up. She was running a fever all day because she's teething and she didn't get a very good nap. So when she started crying at the noise from the pop-its, I knew it was time to take her in and put her to bed. Good thing!
Jacob had a hard time sitting still through all the fireworks. He held a punk the entire time so he would have something to play with.
Grant wrapped up in a blanket on the yard, nevermind that it was 80 degrees and totally humid! Where does he think he is - Idaho?
I did get some cool shots of the boys with the sparklers.
Love this one! I had to have Grant hold really still for it though.
Lottie did manage to play with the boys a little bit before the fireworks. She's gotten really fast at crawling and she tries so hard to catch up to her big brothers when they're running around.
Here's a picture of Lottie and mom in our 4th of July shirts.
She can pull herself up in her crib, and tonight she even pulled herself up to the computer desk and stood there holding on.
