New Pictures!
So I got tired of updating all the old stuff because we have such cute NEW pictures to show you! This is one I took of the boys after church in their clothes they got for Christmas. Don't worry, I'll still put on some Christmas pictures, but it'll be a little longer.
Jacob's getting so big! He can pull himself up if we let him hold onto our fingers now. He's so strong. He goes straight to standing just like Grant did, hates to sit. We got him to stand up for just a few seconds by holding onto a chair. He rolled over for the first time on Saturday the 16th of February. We got some video of that too. We hadn't even been practicing with him, I just put him on his tummy after his bath to put lotion on his back and he flipped right over. Then he rolled over to the other side also. Still can't do back to stomach, but he rolls from side to side and holds onto his feet, so it won't be too long I'm sure.
I took a few pictures of Jacob at 4 months old. I love this one. He looks so skeptical of what I'm doing. That raised eyebrow.
Here's his really big smile. The one that takes up his whole face.
Grant and I made Valentine's Day sugar cookies last week. Grant loved making hearts. He kept saying, "That's a heart, and that's a dress" or "It's a heart and you know it." If anyone knows the lines from Emperor's New Groove, you'll recognize these quotes from the 'shoulder angel'. Grant substituted heart for harp. Funny kid. I can't believe the quotes he comes up with after watching movies even only once. It's amazing. He's learning the sign language alphabet right now and only knows A, B, C, Y, and Z and for everything else he just wiggles his fingers.
Jacob got to try out the bouncy chair this week. We got it out and dusted it off (literally). Grant loves to play with it also and we showed him pictures of himself in it when he was Jacob's age.
This is what Grant spends most of his time playing with now though. He was so happy to get Woody to go with the Buzz Lightyear he got for Christmas. He takes him everywhere.
Buzz is still his favorite character though. Grant loves to dress up in his Halloween costume still and play with Buzz and Woody or watch the movie with both of them sitting on either side of him. What a funny kid.
