Goodbye Everyone!

We said goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa Sommers a couple of days after our zoo trip. Grant and Jacob both woke up just in time to get a couple of pictures and wave goodbye.It took Jacob about a day to warm up to Grandma and Grandpa, but by the time they left, they were best buddies.Here's Grant and Jacob with Grandma and Grandpa. Every person that comes to our house sees Grant waving goodbye to them through the front window. This is my view of him waving. If Grant's awake when Jared goes to work, he has to watch Daddy ride/walk away from the house until he can't see him anymore. I thought this was cute, since I caught Jared on his bike in the picture.Grant was introduced to sidewalk chalk this spring. It's one of his favorite things to do. He draws all kinds of pictures, on the sidewalk and on himself. He usually comes inside with chalk all over his arms and legs.Jacob's so cute when he's asleep that I couldn't resist taking this picture of him all cuddled up in his blanket. He still likes to be swaddled to go to sleep. He has to have a burpcloth or blanket against his cheek.

Grant likes to have Daddy put him down for his nap. Daddy lays by him and they get to fall asleep together. Grant feel asleep one day patting Jared's back.
