Grandma and Grandpa Love's Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Love came to visit at the end of March this year. It's been awhile since they came to visit together and it was nice to play and have fun with them. Grant and Jacob both got puzzles from Grandma and Grandpa and we played with those a LOT during their stay. We went to the Oz Museum too and the boys enjoyed that. Grant watched the Wizard of Oz a couple of times with Grandma and Grandpa.

We had the gamut of weather during their stay. We had sunny days, windy days, cold days and just to top it off, a freak icestorm that ruined most of my tulips.

This was only about the second or third storm we really had this year, so the boys were excited to go out and play in the snow/ice. Grant was really excited to go build a snowman and make snow angels. Unfortunately, this was all the accumulation we got and it was pretty much ice pellets frozen to the ground so we didn't get to make any snowmen.

But we tried really hard to make snow angels and Grant did get one that kind of turned out.

Playing in the snow didn't last very long though because it was still 'icing' a bit and the little pellets really hurt!

It was sad when it was time for Grandma and Grandpa to leave to go home, but they promised to come back later this year when the new baby gets here!
