Christmas Aftermath
The day after Christmas, Jared and I braved the early morning warmth (It was 55 degrees at 6am) and went out to breakfast before hitting the day after sales. It was fun. We haven't had a date by ourselves in a while! Grandma and Grandpa left on Tuesday in the wee hours of the morning. We did one house project while they were here that has had lasting pleasant effects - we installed baseboard heaters in the basement so it's WARM down there when we want it to be now! Of course, Jacob did immediately melt a toy in them! So much for Mrs. Potato head's earring!!
The boys love playing on their blankets and wrapping up in them. They're so nice and warm. This is Jacob showing Grant where Eva is on the blanket.
And this is Grant showing Jacob his Wall-e shirt that he got for Christmas. Grant got a lot of Wall-e stuff actually - a blanket, flashlight, toothbrush, toothpaste and sheets! It was a very Wall-e Christmas for him.
Jacob learned how to climb up on stuff by himself now. He thinks he's big stuff. He tries to follow Grant everywhere. It's especially funny to watch him run after Grant or get chased by daddy!
