Visiting the Bug Zoo

This picture's for all you spider lovers out there. This is one of the many exhibited spiders in the K-State Insect Zoo. I don't remember the full name of it, just that it had 'bird-eater' in it. But it was as big as Grant's head! This fall I started doing some preschool activities with Grant. We get together with a couple other little boys two days a week and have preschool time with them and then the other two days we do our own school time, just me and Grant. This was one of the activities we wanted to do was a field trip to the bug zoo.
They have a few really cool things there, like this cave display, where there are things like bats and glow-in-the-dark scorpions. They have these flashlights for the kids to shine on the creatures in the cave to see them.
Here's a picture I took of Jacob one day when he was laughing hard at Grant. Those boys are such gigglers. Grant can almost always pull Jacob out of a bad mood, just by giggling at him. This is a picture of Jacob after eating his first chocolate chip cookie - freshly baked I might add. What a mess! This is me and the boys listening to General Conference on the internet. This is what I look like whenever I sit down, immediately mauled by two little boys. I think there's a rule or something about me not ever having an empty lap. The boys do their best to keep that rule.
