Grant's Big Break!

Here in the "Land of Everyone's Fixated on Oz", we have a fall event called OZtoberfest - pretty clever huh? During OZtoberfest there's a community bike ride called the Yellow Brick Road Ride. Jared and I participated this year and rode the tandem on the 50 mile route.

It was a fun time. We weren't sure how fun it was going to be initially because we hadn't really been training for it, so we were pleasantly surprised that we made it.

As part of the festivities, there was a drawing for a $1000 gift certificate and Grant got to pull the winning ticket.

The organizers gave Grant his own t-shirt. Grant calls it his 'winner' shirt.
