It's Always Fun when Grandpa Comes (and Grandma)!

Grandma and Grandpa Sommers came to visit us for Jacob's birthday. The boys were very excited to see them.The boys hanging out in the back of Daddy's truck!

Grandma and Grandpa took went with us to the park on Tuesday for playgroup. Jacob had fun with Grandpa swinging and playing on the slide and the teeter totter. Here's Jacob as a knight, storming the castle.Grandpa and Grandma also took Grant to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins for him and Jacob.

Saturday night we had a cookout using our firepit for the first time. Grant was very excited to cook hot dogs over the fire. Look how happy he is.Grant found a little friend to enjoy the cookout with. These little fuzzy caterpillars have been all over our yard this summer. He loves to play with them and let them walk all over his arm.Jacob was enjoying the cookout too, while trying to get the camera from me.Here's the men enjoying the campfire! Fun times! Grant loved the hot dogs and the marshmallows too! The night before Grandma and Grandpa had to leave to go home, we took their picture with the boys. They ended up getting up in time to wave at Grandma and Grandpa before they left though. We are always sad when Grandma and Grandpa have to leave. But we had a fun visit and the boys are excited that they're coming back for Christmas in December.
