Carnival

On May 13th, Wamego Hospital had a carnival for all the employees and their families. It was a little windy and cool, but we had fun. Jared had to go up early and start cooking hot dogs, so Grant and I came up a little later.
Grant helped Dad with the grilling, and even tried a bite or two. He didn't care much for the cotton candy, but he did like the rice krispie treats!
I took Grant around to some of the game stations. This is Grant trying to throw the balls in the buckets. We also did the ring toss and the cake walk. Grant got some fabulous prizes like a paddle ball and a little cardboard glider.

Grant was a little dubious about the inflatable jumping toys at first...
But he warmed up to them. I even took him inside one that was shaped like a caterpillar and we went through all the obstacles.

And here's us outside the caterpillar. We had a good time and there was even a dunking booth for people to try to sink Jared's boss!!
