Walking and Talking

Grant discovered the wonderful world of animal crackers! He loves them. Now that he's got his two top teeth, he's starting to get the hang of biting things off, so we don't have to break everything up in small pieces for him anymore. Grant likes to chatter while he's eating. If you watched the video clips from his birthday, you know what I mean. I got his jabbering on video one night while he was eating.
There's a funny story behind this picture. Grant had a bath one night and he was REALLY tired. I usually get him out of the tub and wrap him up after he's dry enough to put his diaper on. Then I use a Q-tip to wipe his eyes and clean his nose and ears while he lays on the floor all cozy in his towel. Well, this particular night, he was so tired and all cozy there on the floor while I was doing this that he fell asleep. It was so cute, I had to take his picture. Anyway, here's a little clip of him taking a step or two. This was back in April sometime. He's much better at it now, so I'll have to try to get him on video again.
