Trip to Idaho

We had an unexpected trip to Idaho in May for Great-Grandpa Bybee's funeral. Grant met a lot of Bybee cousins for the first time and spent time with his Van Orden cousins and also the Darney girls and Alex. . This was Grant's favorite toy to play with at Grandma Sommers' house - the little people farm set. He doesn't have one at home. We also discovered another favorite toy - Grandma's swivel rocking chair. Grant walked forever and ever in a circle. Then we went to Great Grandma's and she had one too.
Grant with Van Ordens - Connor, Rachel, Maggie and Ali. Grant got walked at least a mile or two around the church and in the back yard at Grandma's.We had a Memorial Day barbecue at Great Grandma Johnson's house with all those cousins.Grant bonded with Alex over legos...And petted Mitzi with Daddy ...
And hung out with Great Uncle Jim while we watched a movie.
Then we went back to Grandma Love's house and Alex and Grant played on the trampoline. They liked it....Until Aunt Mandy scared Alex and made him cry. Dude, are you ok?
Then it started to storm and mom thought we should get out of the thunder and lightning. It was nice to see everyone and we had a safe trip back to Kansas.
